King Edward VIII Scout Park "Riffhams"

 

King Edward VIII Scout Park, also known as Riffhams is a 4 hectare wooded site adjacent to over 100 hectares of National Trust land near Chelmsford, Essex. We are located only a few miles from the site of the 2007 World Jamboree at Hylands Park The site comprises of coppiced and standing woodland mainly chestnut, hornbeam and oak. There are several grassed areas for camping and water taps are located over the whole site. A hut with basic kitchen facilities is available and the toilet block has just been refurbished to include a shower. The site is great for group, patrol and backwoods camping.
