Skreens Park is located within a 2 miles radius of Hylands Park, the site of the 2005 European Scout Jamboree and the 2007 World Centenary Scout Jamboree. Visits to the site including the historic Hylands House can be arranged.
The site consists of 52 acres of historic parkland which is part of the original Skreens Manor, plus a three acre lake for boating, rafts, and pond dipping. There are 2 brick-built (available all year) and a timber-built pack holiday centres, all with kitchens, dining rooms, washing and toilet facilities. Tinley centre in brick construction sleeps 36 and Leaman centre in brick construction sleeps 30 (both heated and available all year) plus the Warren centre in timber (seasonal), which sleeps 36.
There are 25 allocated camping areas around the park, with two toilet/wash blocks (one with ladies and gents showers) fitted with facilities for the disabled. There is also a wet weather barn. The site is available to Scouts and Guides for camps, pack holidays and other events, from April to October. There is a delightful open-air chapel (for all to use) and a log-seated campfire circle for shared use. There is a camp providore, which sells sweets, drinks, T-shirts, sweatshirts, badges and souvenirs of all kinds. Between November and March arrangements must be made at time of booking for shop opening hours. There is also a pay phone box on site.

Gas and Electricity are included within the Hire charge. There is also a 30x20 marquee available.

The below activities are available using either a site instructor, or your own. Skreens site area is also available for use for your own activity, using your own instructor & equipment.
Air Rifles - 4 Rifles per session (Approx number 20 per hour)
Archery - 4 Bows per session (Approx number 20 per hour)
Abseiling - 1 Rope/Drop per session (Approx number 10 per hour)
Canoes - 5 Canoes per session (Approx number 20 per hour)
Cork Guns - 4 Guns per session (Approx number 20 per hour)
Pedal Carts - 4 Carts per session (Approx number 20 per hour)
Pond Dipping - 10 nets per session (Approx number 30 per hour)
Pioneering
Raft Building
Volleyball, Badminton, Pre-planned hikes, Orienteering & Nature Trail are also available at no charge.
Activity Availability
All equipment is provided. Instructors may be provided subject to availability. You may use your own qualified Instructors with our equipment if you so wish. Current Qualification certificates must be produced before any activity is under taken.
Where own equipment is used this must be examined by Park Staff in order to confirm suitability for use within the Park.
Activity session should be booked in advance – please use the booking form provided. Although every effort will be made to locate an Instructor there is no guarantee on availability of Instructors
