Twinstead is the Halstead and Colne Valley District Campsite. It is located on the boarders of Twinstead / Great and Little Henny, between Halstead and Sudbury, just off the A131.

It is a simple greenfield site with basic facilities: mains water and storage shed. This is currently being improved for 2005. There are limited parking facilities, and access is along a track which is also a Public Bridleway.

The site is suitable for weekend camps and overnight stops. It is a good base for hiking in the hills of the Essex border, with very good access to Public Rights of Way.

Viewing is suggested before booking.  Appropriate camping certificate must be held.  Charges are available on application.
