Billericay & Wickford District provides qualities scouting in the towns and villages around Wickford and Billericay. With a mix of urban and rural scouting, it comprises of 12 Groups, each with at least one Cub Scout Pack and most with a Scout Troop and/or a Beaver Scout Colony. There are also 3 Explorer Scout Units, a Scout Network and an Active Support Unit.

To mark the District's Year to Communicate, here is the latest issue of our new monthly Scouting: Billericay and Wickford newsletter. This month's newsletter includes reports from two Cub Scout Packs who have challenged themselves to promote Disability Awareness and gain a brand new badge in the process. There is also the first details for the Essex Country Show held at Barleylands Farm on 13th and 14th September.
