Essex Scouts help develop London Zoo habitats
Scouts from across Essex took part in a project at ZSL London Zoo including landscaping the Out Back section on the Mappin Terraces with new shelters for the Wallabies. made holes for 55 fence posts, built the fences for the Emu’s enclosure, planted large Eucalyptus trees, moved 20 tonnes of topsoil and manure as well as planting shrubs.
