Nothing’s Impossible!
Sunday, September 9th, 2007The benefits of any outdoor adventure experience are massive to any young person, being exposed to the perceived risk of a climbing wall and having to manage those risks are big and bold lessons to learn that are easy to apply to everyday life. If we teach our young people to manage these risks when out of their ‘comfort zones’ then we equip them with the ability to manage risks and cope with risks in their ordinary lives at home. Here at the Challenge Camp aspect of the Essex Experience you can see the change in the young people as they climb what can be a steep learning curve and realise and develop skills they don’t often know they have.
The food’s not bad either!!!!
Thank for another great year Harlow Challenge, go out and be the best you can be.
