Hi,

I'm writing to let you know that MASH had their AGM recently and Neil Warren is still treasurer, Cath Austin took over as secretary and somehow I (Del Hales) managed to end up as Chairman. As a new committee, we are eager to develop a list of previous site services members who are interested in future events.

Now, at this point some of you may be saying 'once was enough', others may be saying 'about time too, I wanted to catch up with some of those strange people I spent two weeks of my life with back in 2004, 2000, 1996, 1992, 1988 .........................

There are 4 things we would like to tell you about.

1. MASH are involved in a number of Scouting events throughout the county between jamborees. Such as Mega Camp, work weekends at Skreens and anything else we are asked to help out at. Is this something you would like to be involved in?

2. A reunion, probably some time in September, probably at Skreens, probably involving some kind of work weekend activity also probably involving some socialising as well! Do you want to catch up with friends from past jamborees?

3. Essex jamboree 2008. Do you want to go back and wear a red t-shirt and live in a field for your summer holiday?


4. We have been asked to help out at Giga camp. This will involve the standard bogs and bins but also car parking on the Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. We have also been asked if we can just generally be around to help where needed.
Giga camp is a Scout activity camp at Skreens in Chelmsford and is the weekend of 30th June 2006. Would you like to help at this specific event?
