What sort of food would you like from the Fast Food Tent at the Essex Jamboree 2004?

So far we have had the following suggestions :

Hot Dogs
Burgers
Pizza
Chicken pieces (Plain and southern fried)
Chips
Potato wedges
Jacket potatoes
Bacon sandwiches
Sausage sandwiches
Pancakes
Fresh doughnuts
Lasagne
Curry
Eggy bread

Anything else??

What time will the Fast food tent be open and what time will it shut.

We haven't fully decided on opening times yet, but probably late morning until 11pm ish.

If we have enough staff, and there is enough demand, we will consider doing breakfasts.

kebabs! succulent pieces of chicken/lamb/pork lovingly diced and skewered, then tenderly barbecued over charcoal furnished with wild oregano and rosemary. Supplemented with a finely chopped fresh mediterranean salad dressed in virgin olive oil, a drizzle of wine vinegar and a hint of fresh lemon juice. All delicately folded into a warm pitta purse.

I mean the themes the Olympics you've got to go Greek ennit!

That's not a kebab!!!

Manky bit of unidentifiable meat, bathed in grease, whacked in a stale pitta drowned with curry sauce and garnished with giant, flavourless chillies.... Now that's a Kebab!

Are you guys going to have themed food days? To complement the World peace, international thing ie different foods from around the world.

What about bean burgers with cheese for the veggi option suprisingly a rather tasty 4am snack after a night out.

ah well if the fast food tent is running 24hrs, i hope to see the trusty kebab on the menu in the early hourse to tied me over till lunch - wen i think i can stomach ne food!

As for deliveries, im sure (for a small fee) i could be bribed to go between the fast food tent and various sites

Don't make sparky a cake! The scarves are nothing to do with him..... he's just using his "connections" to make it seem that he can get you one! I've got 'em here.... just 20 at the moment, but what a beautiful shade of pink they are!

but emzy did her first aid course on saturday - least she could call u an ambulance if she gave u food poisoning - which of course I'm sure she wouldn't!!

I was at the same first aid course, so I know how to call an ambulance too..... it's amazing what you can learn in six hours!
