AT EIJ2004 I recall there were shuttle buses from the airport at an addition cost, direct to the site.
Are there plans for shuttle buses from train stations and airports this year. Our group are coming from Scotland, planning at this stage to come by train and we are starting to look into buying our tickets soon. Our train will arrive in London, and to arrange connections out to Essex it would be ideal to know if there are plans to do shuttles from Colchester or train stations closer to Kirby-le-Soken.
Any info would be helpful.

We are a group travelling from Canada. We will be in London for the 3 days prior to the Jamboree and will be taking the train to Essex. We would also like to know if there will be a shuttle from the train station to camp. Any help you can give us would be appreciated.

I would also like to know if there will be shuttle busses provided from the train stations and airports.
Im coming from Frinton on Sea Railway Station.

But if not, i dont mind ordering a taxi as its only just under 2 miles to the camp site.

Also if anyone knows of a good reliable taxi company based in the Frinton on Sea area could you please let me know the number and area code in case I do end up getting a taxi.

Do you know if there are any arrangements for staff coming by train, but arriving during the build? Are you looking at putting buses on then too?

If not could you post the names and numbers of a couple of local taxi firms, that are well priced and local.

Those of you who are arriving during the Jamboree build please call the Staff department mobile 07928 817 097 when you arrive at the local station and we will come and pick you up.
