Can we bring our own bikes to the Jamboree? Obviously as our own responsibility!

I know the Dutch cycled to WSJ but was unsure what others did.

There are no designated places to lock up your bike, and you do bring these and all your other equipment at your own risk. However Site Services have hired over three lorry loads of Heras fencing, so if you bring a lock and your not going to be obstructing anything you could chain your bike to that.

You bike should be safe on site, its a Jamboree. People come to have fun and not pinch things.

And also scouts dont steal happy.gif

You tell the EuroJam organisers that.

Coming up to the last couple of days, there wasn't a single thing with "EuroJam" on it to be seen anywhere on site...Including Flags and Random signs saying "This Way to Blah Blah..."

Such a shame.

It is pretty much taken for granted that anything branded like flags etc will disappear from a jamboree site - in fact, the rumour I heard was that the Eurojam organisers had no exit strategy for the flags and all - they fully expected them to get taken. Personal stuff being stolen though is an absolute no no

Also - some of the bigger EJ stuff was taken down early to be sold for charity on ebay
