A hand is needed if you please, i am in desperate need of some technology facts, i have been googling all day and have only come up with a few, i need around about 60 and i have 10!
An example or two of the sort of thing that i am after
1) There are over 260,000,000 people with access to the interenet
2) Around 183 Billion emails are send globally daily
3) 83 Million of them emails are junk mail
4) 8 Billion Text messages are sent a day

This is the sort of thing that i am after

All help would be greatfully recieved

I think this is just a myth unfortunately... Do you have a source for this? I reckon the actual statistic would me much more worrying!


My fact: Microsoft has a 95% share of the operating system market, compared with Apple's 3%. As of August 2008, 71% are running XP, 18% are on windows vista, while 0.35% are on Win98 and 0.02% are on Win95, which incidentally used to load up about 3 times quicker than XP! Meanwhile (allegedly) 0.005% are still on Windows 3.1 - good effort I say.

my sorce was my university leturer as we had only just recentaly spoke about the WWW as a system and he brort it up as an intersting fact.

the reasion why it is only 5% is because the other 95% would be for secret comunacations and such by CIA, NSA, and such as well as teroist, as a form of scurcure comunacation, which google woudent have acces to but i would asume that would be obivous well now i have said it.

Well if the CIA MI6 and NASA are using up 95% of the internet I hope they're doing something useful with it!
