You'll have to wait and see what's in the goody bags.

Just to let you know that they aren't all the same so if you have slightly different stuff, it's not because we've forgotton to put something in - it's just that I haven't got 7,500 of every item.
We only have about 2,000 left to pack now - thanks to the following for their hard work over the last couple of days:
Ian, Gwen and Tim (1st Braintree)
Matt P, Ben, AB1, Dan, Vikki, Harry, Mitch, Natalie, Zach and Mike (Explorer Scouts)
Louise (Braintree DESA)
Ryan and other site service staff who had a few spare mintues to fill!
If anyone else wants to help me with bag packing (or any of the other *great* jobs I have) just let me know. My phone number is available in the county directory (Under Zorro Network) or it can be found on the
Aphrodite Subcamp Website.

Just thought I ought to apologise for walking right past you lot on my way back to subcamp field. I was in a world of my own, although I did tell someone they had a clothes peg on their hair.....
Anyway, thanks all for bagging stuff up, not the most enlightening of jobs but I'm sure you had a laugh doing it

Hoover flies ... ????? Do they, sort of, clean up after you or something ?????????
I'm sure if you ask Matty nicely he'll throw a few extra in yours for good measure.

Just a couple of things:
- No one "ordered" any bags. They weren't for order. I gave out what I had.
- There were plenty of water bottles, leaflets and pens to go around. If staff didn't collect theirs, that is their own problem - I wasn't going to deliver single bags to everyone!
- Subcamps were given enough bags for everyone on their site. If you didn't get one the Subcamp should have sorted it out. I had spares but only one Subcamp asked for extras.
- Lastly, everything in the bags was given to us totally free. That's equates to about £100,000 worth of stuff!! Sorry if you didn't get everything, but I had never promised that. I can only give out what I am given!

Thanks Matt and the Goody Bag team!!!
All of the Hermes contingents (leaders included) were chuffed to bits with theirs. Most of them weren't aware they were getting one so when we popped up at each site they thought Christmas had come early!
Well done to team who got the goodies for us it was worth the effort.

What item did people like the most..?
What item did people dislike the most...?
What could we think about for next time...?
What contacts do you have for promotional items...?
A special thanks to Matt and his team for sorting and stuffing all those bags and sorry that I couldn't give any more time to help you sort them out...

As a member of site servies the most usful thing to me was the drinks bottle, because drinking lots was inportant when it waz so hot.
The item i found most strange waz the book, i certainly had no time on the jamboree to sit and read a novel, most of it was speant working and then going off to meet people.
I did like the pen though an unsal design.

Well I was going to say the pen cos when I met this really cute guy I needed it to write his number down - then I realised that the cute guy was already my lovely boyfriend Stu (from the media team) and that I lived with him so there was no need to write it down after all - but I'm sure for all those people making friends and swapping contact details it went down a treat!
The bottle was cool too - can never have too much water in weather like that!
My goddie bag is getting donated to my Little brother - he is a scout and hadn't been informed about the Jamboree untill I said I was going - poor thing missed out on a lot so hopefully it will cheer him up!
(was also debating giving him my full set of 12 subcamp and international badge on my mount olympus scarf but then my mean streak kicked in and I decided to keep them for ME!! ha ha ha ha (evil laugh!)
Thanks everyone

I have to say, much like evryone else, the drinks bottles were the best thing in there! They came in so useful, especially when it turned out that nearly my whole entire contingent had forgotten to bring one with them!
The pen was a great idea too, I think that it would have been quite useful to have a little notebook of some descrption though.
My only gripe about the whole thing was, I got an adult bag, being the leader and all, and the kids pens were so much cooler! LOL
But other than that, it was a really nice idea. I've not been to a Jambo that gives out goody bags at the begining, so it was nice!

On a sponsorship development note. Thanks to Matt from the Security team for the boxes of Joosters during the week. I think without that sugar boost some of the team including myself would never have got through the night shifts.

Perhaps you had too many joosters one night as I believe it was lunch time the next day before you could sleep (after being up for over 24 hours).
I agree with Graham thanks Matt for the Joosters we have in fact consided remaining the Security for the next event!
Cheers
