2,000 Arrive At Skreens For A GiGA Weekend

Scouts and Guides from across Essex arrived at Skreens Park Activity Centre for an action packed activity weekend. Tents went up, rides began on the fairground and campers in bright, multicoloured tops partied late into the night.

Groovy MAD Weekend For Essex Network

Over 260 Scout Network members and staff from 28 Networks across the UK had a 'MAD' time last weekend at Essex Network's annual event, this year held at Kingston Ridge in Laindon Hills, Basildon.

Southend Estuary Explorers Grant Water Activity Fun

A Water Day in Southend Estuary provided the opportunity for Explorers to try a wide range of activities on the water and was partly funded by local grants to help maintain equipment.

Bronze, Silver and Gold in Thurrock

Vortex Explorers Get In A Spin

Members of Vortex Explorer Scout Unit, took part in an activity that none of the young people had ever attempted before.  AirKix in Milton Keynes gave them the opportunity to take part in skydiving but without the need to go up in a plane.
