Gas

Ordering and Collection

• If you do not bring gas bottles with you to the jamboree we ask that you place your order in advance using the
  downloadable spreadsheet. If you do not do this we cannot guarantee that we will have the bottle you want when you arrive.
• Collection of gas on arrival will need to be done between the hours of 14.00 and 17.00. If you will be arriving after this time please notify us when you place your order so that we can put them by for you.
• When you want to collect your gas come to the kiosk in the Jamart where we will check your order and issue you with a collection note which you will take to the gas lorry.
• If you wish to exchange an empty bottle for a full one, then you can come into the Jamart at any time that it is open and place your order. If you order by 17.00 hours them you will be able to collect your order the next day.

Collecting your Exchange Order

• This will need to be done between the hours of 15.00 and 17.00.
• Come to the Jamart and you will be given a collection slip to take to the Gas lorry. No slip, no gas at the lorry!
• No orders or money will be taken at the gas lorry.

Returning the Bottles

• We will receive bottles back between the hours of 15.00 and 17.00 on the Friday and 08.00 and 11.00 on the Saturday.
• Return your bottles to the gas lorry where you will be given a return slip which you will need to take to the gas kiosk in the Jamrt where you will be refunded your bottle fee.

Payment

• Payment will be taken at the Jamboree
• Cheques or cash only, Cheques payable to ‘Essex International Jamboree’

Jamboree Clothing

Our Jamboree clothing range provides the ideal opportunity to get involved in the Jamboree experience before this summer. All items are available in a variety of sizes and all include the Jamboree logo on either navy blue and heather grey clothing.

How To Order
Download the EXCEL Order Form, fill it in on your computer and return it to Pam at .

The electronic form is formatted to help you with your calculations but is also provided to ensure that our ordering process is streamlined by using an excell spreadsheet to place your order.

Papers copies will be available during the participant booking process or can be downloaded as a PDF Order Form if you do not have access to Excel.

Order Deadline
Please help us by getting your order in early as we want to get all orders printed in good time. Early orders also enable them to be delivered to an address of your choice at extra cost, but this is only available to UK participants at 12p per item. Please note that the deadline date for orders is 7th June 2008 and that there is a £1 per item penalty for late orders.

Group Orders
The form is only for Group orders so any individual orders received will be returned to the sender. The order form is designed to take either navy or grey products.

Protecting The Environment
The range is from the Fruits of the Loom product range, which are excellent in length and quality of fabric and have good wash ability. The garments are made to the highest environmental and ethical standards using best practice with regard to employment, health and safety and the environment.

Food Warehouse

Following the success of the food warehouse operation at the 2004 event we are now working with Sainsbury’s to provide an improved service. The shopping list has been carefully prepared following extensive market research to ensure that we are providing everything that you would need for a camp with Guides or Scouts. Remember that prices given on the attached shopping list are equivalent to those in any Sainsbury’s supermarket or on line. How Will It Work?

DOWNLOAD your food warehouse order form.

You place your order in advance and indicate the day(s) that suit you for collection.
Your order can include meat, vegetables, bakery, groceries and cleaning products.

We have freezer facilities to enable you to benefit from the purchase of chilled and frozen foods. You can collect what you want on the day you want it from the food warehouse based in the Market Square.

Speciality Foods

In addition to the standard Food Order form there is a Speciality Order Form which includes some of Sainsbury's "Free from..." Range.

For International Groups Only

For international contingents who may not be familiar with English products and systems, we are offering specially prepared packs for units of 10 persons based on the products listed.  These will contain everything you need for 24 hours at a time. This is an ideal way to get started. If you wish to take up this service then we ask that you send an email to with your request and we will give you a quote

How Do I Place An Order?

You complete the order form electronically and send it to . We would prefer electronic orders, but realise this is not always easy, therefore, if you need to send in your order on paper by post, please send it to the address on the shopping list

When Can I Collect Items?

You will see from the form that you can have supplies ready for collection on the day that you require them. We strongly urge you to collect supplies for your breakfast on the day prior. The warehouse will be open from 07.30 till 10.00 and again from 16.00 to 18.00

When Do I Need
To Place The Order?

Orders must be sent to us preferably 1 month prior to the Jamboree to enable us to process all the orders, but there is a deadline of Saturday 5th. July. A cheque to the value of 90% of the order value must be sent to the address on the shopping list. The remaining 10% is payable at the jamboree, where your final bill will be made up.  This will include any price variations that occur (remember prices can go down as well as up!)

What If I Forget To Order Something Or Need Extra?

 We will also operate a small shop on site for those small items that you forgot or want extra, such as milk and bread.
