Shopping
The Jamboree market (Jamart) will sell a full
range of souvenirs, novelties, sweets and
drinks. Look out for further information about
the system for Group food and for the full
range of retail outlets in the next edition of the
newsletter.
Jamboree Bank
Located on the Market Square, the bank will
be open 8.30 to 13.30 and then, 16.00 to 18.00 in the afternoon. Services will include the cashing
of personal cheques, Group cheques and
sterling travellers cheques (upper limits apply)
plus the exchange of currency and the safe
custody service for passports through the
issue of receipts. Please note there are no
current plans for ATMs on the Jamboree site.
Fast Food Dino’s, the Jamboree fast food outlet will be
found in the Market Square and offers a varied
menu including a salad bar, daily specials
and fast food including Jacket Potatoes, Hot
Dogs, Burgers, Chips and a variety of drinks.
Coffee Shop
Located on the Market Square it will be a quiet
oasis open between 8am until 10.30pm serving
Espresso, Latte, Cappuccino, Americano, Hot
Chocolate, Tea, Fizzy drinks, Fresh fruit juice,
Panini, Toasties, Sausage roll (hot or cold),
Waffl es, Cakes and pastries which can be
served take away or with a china mug and
plate in the coffee shop.

The Internet Cafe and payphones around the site will provide everyone with the opportunity to stay in touch with home during their stay.
.net@jamboree will be open from Sunday 27th through to Friday 1st August from 09:00 to 21:00.
Help Desk
If you ever have a question or need help
finding information about activities, events and
amenities at the Jamboree you will be able to
visit the Help Desk which will be located on
the Market Square.
Peace & Quiet Zone There may be times at the Jamboree when
you need to relax, reflect or pray. The Peace
& Quiet zone will be based in the Market
Square and is a place to come for a cuppa,
read a book, chat or just take time out. It is
open to all adult leaders, participants and
staff. The zone team will also be out and
about chatting to the young people, leaders
and staff members to check everyone is
happy and enjoying the event. There will also
be acts of worship each day. Come and say
hello, the urn is always on!
