Security Department

Be part of the Department that ensures we have a safe and secure jamboree community. You could be checking passes at the main gate, managing car parking areas or ensuring that everyone finds their Sub Camp at the end of the day.

International Department

Be part of the Department that enables everyone to share our global jamboree community. Help to support international participants and lend a hand to provide international themed activities that help broaden global awareness and international understanding through a Global Development Village and World Cultures and World Faiths Zones. You could be running an activity from another country, supporting international participants or helping to demonstrate how everyone can make a contribution to the future of the planet.

Staff Department

The Staff Department is responsible for not only leading the Staff, but for their welfare and entertainment.  So you could join the Department look after catering to nearly 2000 members of Staff or serve them a refreshing beverage in the evening.

Site Services Department

Be part of the Department that designs helps build the infrastructure and then services it during the event. You could be installing cables, connecting water pipes or having a laugh with your mates during rubbish collection duties.

Entertainments Department

Be part of the Department that entertains everyone during the event, providing a variety of entertainments to suit all tastes. You could be helping on crowd control during the opening ceremony, checking there’s enough popcorn in the cinema or choosing the next tune in the dance tent.

Retail Department

Be part of the Department that leads food, drink and souvenirs sales during the Jamboree through the onsite shopping and food outlets. You could be serving snacks to hungry Guides and Scouts, selling stamps and newspapers or helping to exchange currency at the Jamboree bank.

Activities Department

Be part of the Department that provides activities that challenge, inspire, excite and entertain. You could be helping run a climbing wall, demonstrating a craft or showing someone how to canoe for the first time.

Welfare Department

Be part of the department that supports the administration, pastoral, caring and comfort services to the event. You could be helping in the child day care area, helping to reunite lost property or supporting global faiths of our Jamboree community.

Sub Camp Department

Be part of the Department that becomes a home to participants during the Jamboree. Help provide activities, support and ensure everyone gets the most out of their week. You could be running Sub Camp activities, distributing activity tickets or Sub Camp communications.

Health & Safety Department

Be part of the Department that leads health and safety aspects of this large scale event and helps to ensure that the Jamboree participants and workforce are protected and safe. You could be helping to test noise levels or helping teams to conform to safety standards.

Marketing & Communications Department

Be part of the Department that aids communications before and during the event by providing information about the event to everyone that requires it. You could be editing web pages, taking photos or meeting new people while reporting for the newspaper.
