MAD Rock Café

You really have three options regarding food:

Option A

Don't eat.

Option B

Spend a couple of evenings before MAD UK going shopping for food, collecting cooking equipment and gas from Scout Groups. Upon arrival at site, have all the hassle of unloading said equipment and food, and carrying it all from the carpark to the campsite. During the weekend wasting valuable drinking and partying time, preparing, cooking, washing up etc. And finally at the end of the weekend lugging it all back to the cars, and then spending a couple of hours taking it back to Scout Groups.

Option C

Pay just £12 for a MAD Rock Café meal ticket which entitles you to 4 meals up to the value of £3 each, two breakfasts up to the value of £2.50, and unlimited Tea/Coffee and squash all weekend in the exquisite surroundings of the MAD Rock Café.

You can also purchase food over the counter during the weekend.

So why not introduce yourself to the Legend that is The Mad Burger.

MAD Burger

This catering is provided by Chelmsford and District Scout Fellowship, who have provided this service at more MAD Weekends than we can care to remember. They have in the past provided a Fast Food outlet for 8000 people at Essex Jamboree, catered for the Stage Show Cast at Eurojam, and the staff at Norjam in 2006. The menu doesn’t just consist of Burgers and Chips, they also do salad, home cooked specials including Curry, Chilli, Pizza, Lasagne, and vegetarian options.
