Q: How much deposit do I have to pay?
A: Your deposit to secure your place at camp is just £20 per pack non returnable. This will be deducted from your final payment.

Q: When do I have to have my paper work and final payment in?
A: Final numbers must be in by March 15th and final payment must be in by 30th April 2008.

Q: Do I need a Nights Away permit?
A: No as long as your DC is happy the permit will be held centrally but you need to fill in a Nights Away form sent to your DC

Q: Do my other leaders and adult helpers need a CRB?
A: Yes all adults on site will require a CRB.

Q: When can I get on site to leave equipment?
A: You can get on site from Thursday 12th at 5pm. Equipment on site prior to the event is the responsibility of the group.

Q: What time can I arrive with my Cub pack?
A: Arrival times are to be staggered between 6-9pm on the Friday. Times will be allocated nearer the time.

Q: Will there be an Opening Ceremony?
A: Yes it will be on Saturday at 9am.

Q: What time will the cubs need to be in their tents by?
A: The camp site is to be quiet between 11pm-7am.

Q: Will additional leaders be required to support activities and how do I know which activity I will be supporting?
A: Yes additional help will be required with the activities and this information will be available from your sub camp leader.

Q: How much will Young leaders/ Explorers have to pay?
A: The cost will be £10.

Q: What are the First Aid Arrangements?
A: Leaders are responsible for minor problems, SAFE will be on site to deal with major problems.

Q: What permissions do I need to get from parents?
A: Permission to Camp, Health information and medication list, any opt outs from Photography and Video which we will be producing for publicity material.

Q: Can I bring my bring my dog to the event?
A: No dogs are permitted at Gilwell Park.

Q: Can I bring my youngsters to the event?
A: Children of Leaders can attend but they remain the responsibility of their parents.
