 1st Silver End Scouts Summer Adventure is a bit closer to home this year as they spend a week in Scotland from the 7 August as 51 members of Silver End will be spending a week at the Fordell-Firs, a Scottish National Scout Activity Centre. Activities will include the caving simulator, 3G Swing, Archery and Team Games. Days will be spent off site go-karting at Knockhill, visiting Deepsea World, Scotland's Secret Nuclear Bunker near St Andrews and attempting the aerial Assault Course at the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena (view video)
The last day will be spent on a boat cruise on the forth, followed by some free time in Edinburgh before going to a restaurant where the Scouts will make their own Pizza's. The day will end by going to the Tattoo - which will be a memorable experience for all those going.
