Fellowship in Essex
Issue 2 of Scout Fellowship eNews produced by Gilwell is now available. It is available for download here. I'm aware that a number of our members do not have access to the web so I will endeavour to get a hard copy to them.
It's AGM season again and as always I welcome invitations to attend as it is an Ideal opportunity to keep in touch.
Big "thank you" to Braintree Fellowship for offering to host this years Annual Fellowship Service...details to follow.
Fellowship review: Chairman of East of England region, John Chambers, wrote to Glenn Walker expressing concerns over proposed changes, similar to our own feelings expressed at last October's annual service, that is "if it's not broke don't fix it". Glenn gave a detailed response with a closing statement to the effect that changes will not be rushed through and are not made for the sake of it. It is not expected that any changes will be made before at least 2009.
Thank you to all those Groups who send me their Newsletters, the hard work and dedication given to this great movement has to be congratulated.
