Network is the last and oldest section in Scouting’s Youth Programme. It’s open to all 18-25 year olds within the association, and provides endless opportunities for its members. From gorge walking, hiking, and trips abroad, to the usual antics seen at Essex Network's MADUK, there’s always loads on offer, giving Network members a massive selection of things to do. Network is also the last section in which you can complete the Queen's Scout Award, and Essex Network even has its own Award Support team (ESNAT) to help members through their awards.

Network is flexible, and once you are a member of one Network, you are automatically a member of all Networks across the UK! If you’re already a Leader, or Fellowship member then you can still be an active member of Network. If your time only allows you the opportunity to take part in Network activities once a month, then that's fine. Likewise, if you go away to university, through your local Network you can contact your nearest Network to Uni and continue your Networking whilst you're there.
Please feel free to browse through our web content to get a better feel for who we are and what we do, and if you have any queries please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Happy Networking,
Martin Falder
County Scout Network Commissioner
