The Global Dimension of Scouting is a very exciting one. From our origins in 1907 with a limited number of young people on an experimental camp on Brownsea Island, to today - over 100 years on, we have a global membership of 28million+! Scouts (of all ages) are found in all but 6 countries of the World - a truly Global Movement.
