County Media Team

 

The County Media Team is a collection of people working to provide media support to the county.

The remit of the County Media Team is to support communication in the Scouting County by;

• Supporting County Events (Photos, Articles, Event Publications) Attend county events to take pictures (for county publication) and/or produce event newsletter (upon request from event teams)

• Supporting District / Group Media Development Managers or anyone undertaking local media activities - providing support on press releases and event media coverage in their areas.

• Supporting Scouting Internal Communications (Generating articles for Website, Newsletters and Email communications) While attending county events produce articles for the county website, county newsletter, other county communications (Annual Report) and Articles for National publications (Scouting Magazine and Scouting website)

• Supporting County External Communications (Press Releases, Press support) While attending county events produce press releases for the local media, support other county members to produce press releases, support and liaise with press in regard to these events.
