Who are Young Spokespeople?
Young Spokespeople are Scouts who have received media training to enable them to talk with local and national media. They are everyday Scouts, Explorers and Network members.
The Training:
The Young Spokesperson Training is for enthusiastic
youngsters aged 15 to 25, who are committed to Scouting and are
good communicators. They need to be willing to be the public face
of Scouting and to take on the challenge of story starved journalists!
