Assistant County Training Manager
(Manager and Supporters)
I am responsible for providing the training for all Managers
and supporters across the county. When I am told of the needs
by the LTM’s I will call upon my team to try and meet those
needs at the time and in the manner requested by the learner.
I have been an Assistant Scout Leader, Scout Leader, GSL and
ADC (LT) and a Tutor and Trainer in several Groups, several
Districts, several Counties and several countries.
For the past 15 years or so I have worked on the Training
Team providing and latterly managing the GCA, now M&S,
Training.
I have a wife, Wendy who was involved in Cub Scouts and now
Beaver Scouts and two daughters who both married Venture Scout,
now Explorer Scout, Leaders.
When not Scouting I am involved in training for people in
the Eastern Synod of the United Reformed Church and have prepared
and presented courses for the Association of Social Alarms
Providers where they paid me. And I have a full time job somewhere.
