The Essex Media Team provides communication support to local Scouting undertaken by a number of specialist sub-teams and individuals to communicate to internal and external audiences.
Online - The Web Team is a team of around 10 members who support online communication tools including the county website, email systems, photo galleries, custom calendar and article system.
Two-way radio and Public Address - ESCAT offer two-way radio communication, public address systems, event support and troop/pack night support.
Media Development - The County and Local Media Development Manager work with the Young Spokesperson co-ordinator to support the generation of external media coverage in local newspapers and radio.
Newsletter - Essex Adventure is a seasonal 6 page newsletter available by email, post and online
Essex Plus - a weekly email digest of news and support

Annual Review - A document published on behalf of the County Executive to review the year
Event support - The media team support marketing and event media support to County events and activities.
Essex Team Success with JOTI Radio Station
The Essex based Scout Radio team held a 48 hour marathon reaching out to participants of the international Scouting event of JOTA/JOTI (Jamboree on the air and Jamboree on the Internet) which took place this weekend. The team broadcast from 15:00 GMT Friday the 14th to 15:00 GMT Sunday the 16th with live content.
