Condovers

Condovers is an established site of about 3.5 acres situated in a quiet location to the east of Tilbury. It is about 5 miles from the M25, the QE2 river crossing and also Lakeside Shopping Centre. We are also about 2.5 miles from Coalhouse Fort (featured on Most Haunted and scenes shot for Batman Begins) and 3 miles from Tilbury Fort. There is a local bus service that passes the entrance gate and London is only half an hour away from Tilbury or Grays railway station or visit Southend-On-Sea’s famous pier.

BUILDINGS & FACILITIES

Havers Lodge – consists of a hall and a large kitchen with 2 large rang cookers and a washing machine. All plates, cutlery, pots, and pans etc are included. The hall can seat up to 90 people and is often used for sleepovers.

Bison Lodge – this is a cosy wooden cabin with a small kitchen and a bedroom with 2 bunk beds. Outside this lodge is a covered decking which can be equipped with an outdoor kitchen. Plates, cutlery and cooking equipment are included, outdoor kitchen is extra.

Male and female toilets and showers.

Tuck shop- selling penny sweets, chocolate, soft drinks, badges, fun neckerchiefs and souvenirs. Opening times can be arranged around your visit.
