Beaver Scouts is the youngest section of Scouting. Every week they are busy making things, having a go at outdoor activities, playing games, going out on visits, making new friends or going on a sleepover!
Cubs is the second section of Scouting. Cubs activities focus on fun, adventure and gaining even more new experiences like going away camping for a whole week or trying out new activities like climbing.
Explorers can make the most of a huge range of opportunities. Everything from taming the waves on a sailboat to campaigning for National change. Explorers can also take part in the Young Leaders programme and help lead a Beaver, Cub or Scout section.

Vikings Come to Hockley-1st Hockley Beavers & Cubs ran a joint evening to welcome Repeating History. They brought with them swords, shields ,costumes and other items to demonstrate in a practical and fun way, by dressing up and role play, the life of a Viking. a fun evening was had by all.

The everyday adventure is possible thanks to our adult volunteers. They support Scouts in a wide range of roles from working directly with young people, to helping manage a Group or being a charity Trustee.
Scout Active Support
Scout Active Support allows people to give their time to Scouting on a flexible basis. People can still be involved in Scouting without the full-time commitment of being a leader.
18 – 25 years
Scout Network is for 18 to 25 year olds looking for adventure. As a Scout Network Member you get to take part in all the usual great Scouting activities such as kayaking, climbing, camping as well as work on projects helping to support your local community.
