Cub Scouts are Young People aged 8-10½ years old and form the second section in the Scouting Family between the Beavers and Scouts
Across the whole of Essex, Cubs usually meet each week and will get a chance to try challenging activities alongside learning new skills. Whilst completing these activities Cubs can earn a range of badges which can be worn on their uniforms, to show everyone what they have achieved.
Cub Scouts will get the opportunity to go camping in a tent with the friends they make at Cubs. There will also be a chance to participate in a range of outdoor activities.

“The best part of Scouting is definitely the camps. I love every activity we do apart from swimming. They said the pool was 24 degrees. Minus 24 more like!”
