Once every two years, 2nd Chelmsford’s Scout Centre is transformed from an empty room to a make-shift art gallery containing the works of Cub Scouts from all over the Chelmsford District. This year’s assortment of crafts was no exception to the history of great quality work from the boys and girls.

The theme of the competition this year was the Wild West, with the Cubs given a choice of over 20 categories to compete in, as well as a Pack project and a suprise group project carried out on the day of the competition. The hall was quickly filled with an assortment of totem poles, dream catchers, horse shoes, log cabins and many other items of work, before the judges came to give their verdicts. First, second and third prizes were awarded in each age category with some categories having some serious competition.
