Two Scout volunteers from Essex, Chloe Bond from Braintree and Suzanne Ball from Chelmsford, have today been rewarded for their commitment to working as a Scout Leader in their local community by taking part in The Olympic Torch Relay on 6 July 2012. The route will be lined with young people and adults all wanting to thank Chloe for the time that she gives to Scouting.

The relay is shining a light on the UKs unsung heroes and Chloe and Suzanne are great examples of this. Torchbearers are carrying the flame through urban areas to places of outstanding natural beauty including more than 1,000 cities, towns and villages in the UK, passing close by many Scout adventure centres.

Chloe was chosen for her inspirational volunteering and charity work over the past 5 years. This consists of voluntary work and going on international charity trips to Asia and South America.
