The 26th Colchester Sea Scout Group took up the second round of County Challenges by taking a good look at faith and how it affects their Scout Group.

The February challenge for the Essex Challenge is all about faiths and beliefs and the whole Group got involved in some faith based activities during the month.

The Beavers made and told prayers while the Cubs made individual prayers and produced a Scouts Own.

The Scouts meanwhile were asked to gather up information about different faiths and bring them to the Troop night to collate their findings and produce an informative talk on their subject.

When the presentations were finished, the teams put together their own Scouts Own based on their chosen faith. One really nice Scouts Own was produced by two very young, new to the Troop, girls who sang a Jewish hymn, from memory.
