Cub Scouts Patrick, Jake and Matthew from Brentwood have all demonstrated their green credentials to achieve their Bronze Chief Scout Award, the highest training Award for Youth Members of Scouting in their age group after completing a number of challenges during the last few years.

The Cub Scouts are all members of 3rd Brentwood Cub Pack and took part in a litter picking project to partly achieve their awards.

The Bronze Chief Scout Award is achievable by all members of that age group, no matter their physical or mental ability. Scouting has adventure at its core and the achievement awards help young people across Essex to experience new activities and challenges.

One of the challenges that the Scout Movement faces is finding more volunteers to plug the current gap.
