Debbie Burrell is one of our dedicated Essex International Jamboree volunteers. As a part of the facilities team her tractor skills will be handy when ensuring there are no foul smells lingering at the Essex International Jamboree by choosing and enjoying driving the tractors that empty the toilets.

Debbie has always wanted to give the guys a run for their money, so after her brother had volunteered in 2000 he suggested she gave it a try. What she loves the most about the team is everyone is a team player, and if one person is out working late, then there will also be a team of people helping them.

The Essex International Jamboree in 1996 got Debbie introduced to Jamborees. Since she has definitely become a bit addicted! For many years she succeeded to go to a Jamboree every year and some years even two, as a Scout or Guide. As she grew older she started looking for roles as staff, and being a part of the Essex International Jamboree team is her favourite.
