Scouts of the World Award in the UK is a unique traing award for members of the Scout Network. It comprises attendance at a Scouts of the World Discovery (4 or 5 days), a period of reflection, and the completion of a Scouts of the World Voluntary Service (14 days).

The award is still being trialled in the UK, and the first two Network Scouts received their badges and certificates from The Speaker, the Rt Hon John Bercow MP, at The House of Commons in March.

For Scout Network members, this is your opportunity to achieve the Scouts of the World Award. You can register by contacting Emma Saunders at Gilwell Park and applying to attend a Scouts of the World Discovery. The next SW Discovery will be held over two weekends – September 10-12 and 24-26 – at Ullesthorpe Scout Centre in Leicestershire.
