UK Chief Commisioner came to party in Essex and found out the stories were true! Wayne Bulpitt attended this years ‘Big One’ the annual dinner dance to celebrate those that volunteer for Scouting at the Cliffs Pavillion, Southend.

Together with nearly 300 guests, Wayne wined dined and then grovvied on down to the sounds of the 15 piece band “Jackie Wilson Says”.

During the speeches he not only recognised the efforts of the 30,000 Haitian Scouts, he also thanked all those who contribute to Scouting in Essex and hailed 2010 to be a great year for the movement.

Emma Bearman, the event organiser, said “It was great to have him (Wayne) here, and with great people and great music, what a fantastic way for Leaders and partners to be acknowledged for the continual effort they put”
