Josh and Ronnie from Stanford le Hope have both demonstrated their knowledge of the world to achieve their Silver Chief Scout Award, the highest training Award for Youth Members of Scouting in their age group after completing a number of challenges during the last few years. The Scouts are both members of 2nd Stanford le Hope Scout Group.

The Silver Chief Scout Award is achievable by all members of that age group, no matter their physical or mental ability. Scouting has adventure at its core and the achievement awards help young people across Essex to experience new activities and challenges.

One of the challenges that the Scout Movement faces is finding more volunteers to plug the current gap.
