Work has been underway for some time on a new system to replace the current membership system. Besides providing a single point of easy and secure access to all your adult and youth member data, many of the day to day scouting administrative processes will be implemented and automated on the new system thereby significantly reducing the administrative burden on leaders and managers and leaving more time to do Scouting.
Attention has now turned to organising the roll-out of the new system which is planned for early in 2014 and we are looking for a number of key individuals to take on project roles now to lead the implementation in Essex.
We are seeking to recruit five Local Area Change Champions (one for each area of the county) and a team of Local Area Membership System Trainers who will work within districts to help those who may need support in using the new system. Full training will be provided to support to the change champions and local trainers, including regular webinars, telephone conferences, updates and resources.
