“Our first activity was rafting, which involved building a floating raft using only barrels, wooden poles and rope. After construction, it was time to set sail out into the lake. So, armed with oars, we paddled our mighty raft away from the bank and out into open water. It held strong for a long time, but then a rope came loose and a barrel floated away, so we made a hasty retreat back to shore.
