Introducing the Why Volunteer? I Volunteer! adult recruitment campaign
Essex Scouts are launching a campaign to recruit adults in to Groups around the County called Why Volunteer? – I Volunteer! During 2020 adult volunteer numbers in Essex fell by 600 and we want to help Groups fill the gaps they may have in their teams.
Representatives from Groups right accross the County attended introductiory webinars to introduce the campaign being led by Emma Parker. Groups signing up to be part of the campaign will be able to highlight current vacant roles and then new or returning volunteers express interest by completing a simple enquiry form – publicised during the campaign. From this we will be able to forward them on to the Groups directly.
The campaign will cover a range of media outlets, including local press (print & web), social media, word of mouth and more. In addition a range of support materials have been produced for interested Groups to downaload and use, these can be found below.
