Archery Team

Archery Team

The team which celebrates its 40th year in 2024 specialises in introducing participants, regardless of age or ability, to the sport of archery in a fun, structured and safe environment.

The team’s membership is drawn from across the county and further field. The majority have other Scouting roles but an interest in archery and a passion to teach others.

Today our primary objective is to support larger County events but with a wealth of knowledge and experience we’re also able to offer guidance and advice to groups or individuals setting out on their own archery journey.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
