A key consideration in the work we undertake is the importance of working with the parents and carers of the young person. The focus of any consultation work is to promote opportunity for the needs of the individuals to be met in a safe, understanding and non-judgemental approach.
On a county level we work to support all teams in areas of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. Developing a unified approach with enhanced knowledge and strategies. This encompasses the Volunteering and Development Team, Recruitment and Welcome and Training and Learning opportunities, Incident Management and Digital/ Public Relations.
The programme Team and all its branches, 4-13 and 14-24 Programme Support, Events, International, Archery, Water and Mountain.
We actively support at district, county and international events including Essex International Jamboree.
Working with District Lead Volunteer’s and or District Inclusion Lead’s we can support challenges faced within a myriad of settings developing their knowledge and skills.
Each situation will be assessed on a case-by-case basis to ensure that the most appropriate support is delivered efficiently.
